Who we are

Founded in the Twin Cities of Minnesota in 1895, the Apollo Club has grown to be one of America’s oldest, continuously performing and well-traveled male choruses. We currently number about 70 voices, balanced among tenors, baritones and basses.

Our mission:

Sustaining two centuries of fraternal singing by thoughtfully engaging the community through creative programming, meaningful outreach, and extraordinary performances.

This festival at the Ordway in celebration of the Apollo Club’s 130th year will bring together voices old and new. It will include the Minnesota Boychoir, past Apollo Club members, and a Festival Chorus of singers from Minnesota’s choral community and beyond.

Apollo at The Big Sing Festival

The Apollo Chorus will participate in the 2026 Big Sing Festival of the Associated Male Choruses of America, held this year in Appleton, Wisconsin.

The event includes numerous choruses singing individually, then culminates with them joining together in a final Saturday evening festival performance.
